BrunnerCTF 2025: EagleDefenders Places Second in Tunisia

I was proud to take part in BrunnerCTF 2025 as a member of EagleDefenders, competing alongside teammates in an international cybersecurity challenge. The event brought teams together to solve challenges across a range of security topics, and gave us a great opportunity to learn, collaborate, and test our skills under pressure.

Our team solved 53 challenges and earned 6,531 points, placing 36th overall out of 1,148 teams, 30th internationally out of 1,065 teams, and 2nd among Tunisian teams.

The challenges covered a broad mix of categories: Boot2Root, forensics, OSINT, cryptography, reverse engineering, web, mobile, Pwn, Misc, and Shake & Bake. Moving between these areas meant sharing ideas, drawing on each teammate’s strengths, and staying curious when a challenge took an unexpected turn.

More than the rankings, I valued the teamwork and the chance to learn from an international CTF community. BrunnerCTF was a memorable experience that encouraged me to keep practicing, explore unfamiliar categories, and grow together with EagleDefenders.
